Volunteer

Help make Pride 2026 welcoming from first arrival to final cleanup.

Volunteers are the heart of Lake Stevens Pride. Whether you're helping guests find their way, keeping the kids area running, or doing the behind-the-scenes work that makes it all happen — we'd love to have you.

Volunteer roles

Pick the role that fits you best.

No prior event experience required. You'll receive an orientation, day-of contacts, and shift guidance before you start. We do our best to place you in your top choice.

Guest Welcome / Info

  • Entry greeting, information support, schedule guidance, and helping guests find key spaces throughout the event.

Vendor Support

  • Assist vendors with load-in, answer questions, and help keep the vendor area running smoothly during the event.

Stage Support

  • Help coordinate performer flow, manage stage-adjacent crowd space, and support the emcee and production team.

Kids / Family Area

  • Keep the bounce houses, obstacle courses, and kids carnival activities safe, fun, and running on schedule.

Safety

  • Support a safe and welcoming environment by monitoring the grounds, de-escalating concerns, and connecting guests with resources.

Floaters (Problem Solvers)

  • Flex across roles wherever you're needed most. Great for experienced volunteers who are comfortable adapting on the fly.

Setup / Breakdown

  • Help with setup on June 6th (day before) or the morning of June 7th, and breakdown after the event wraps up. Heavy lifting appreciated.

What to expect

Friendly onboarding and clear shift guidance.

Most shifts run 2–4 hours. Volunteers receive role briefings, day-of contacts, and break guidance. We recommend weather-ready clothing, comfortable shoes, and a reusable water bottle.
